This poster is a tribute to my mentor and friend, the Finnish poster master Kari Piippo. His posters are celebrated for being Simple, Strong, and Sharp. A poster, no more than a sheet of paper on a wall, bore the weight of Kari Piippo’s lifelong design exploration. I offer a sheet of paper breaking free from the wall as a homage to his life dedicated to the design of the poster.
