This hotel project was co-developed by architect Zhang Lei and his partner, Ms. Lei Xiaoxiong. Zhang Lei is a renowned architect, while Xiaoxiong is of She ethnic heritage, and together they imbued the architecture with a simple and natural style. Accordingly, both the logo and the supporting graphics draw inspiration from She script and architectural structures. The wayfinding system is designed to integrate seamlessly with the building, avoiding any sense of intrusion. Materials are chosen to match the interior finishes—specifically, tin plates—so that directional elements appear when needed and remain discreet when not in use.
