In 2022, Pilar Corrias presents an exhibition entitled “Here of There!” presenting the latest works of Peppi Bottrop, Cui Jie and Rirkrit Tiravanija, three artists from different countries and regions, discussing a worldview based on a completely different reality through the themes of industrial heritage and ecological civilization, encouraging the audience to think together about the time and factors that differentiate the world in the post-globalization era.
Pocca was invited by Pilar Corrias to design the exhibition poster for this annual exhibition for the second time. In the design process, we read the curatorial text of the exhibition and analyzed the visual language of the three artists' works and the tone of the exhibition's theme, focusing the visualization on four key words: “industrial relics”, “ecological barbarism”, “statements and questions” and “manifesto”. Finally, all of the elements are abstracted and imagined into the title which is itself symbolic and formal, and the visual clues from the three artists' works are organized in the poster's image by way of typography design.
