Founding Partner and Design Principal of Pocca, Adjunct Associate Professor at School of Future Design Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, Curator of DT Talks, and Curatorial Board Member of Shanghai Graphic Design Biennale. Duan shaped his profession via Shanghai, Melbourne, and Porto, now his practice spanning graphic design, branding, curating, writing, translation, and design education.
Duan's projects have been featured in publications by renowned art and design publishers such as Gestalten, Niggli, Victionary, and Sandu, as well as in design journals like Eye and Print. He has been interviewed by prestigious design media, including Design 360° and The Brand Identity. He has also been invited as a speaker for the Red Dot Design Award Shanghai Tour, a panelist for the Brand Design Forum at Asian Design Management Forum, a guest speaker and critic for the Brand Identity I: Visual Strategy Series Speak at the China Academy of Art, and a guest speaker at the HiiiBrand Summit 2024. In 2021, he was nominated for the Australia China Alumni Award for Excellence in the Arts and Creative Industries.
